A Weekend with Pat Miller

North Coast Dogs is delighted to welcome Pat Miller to Cleveland, Ohio October 8th and 9th 2005. Pat will be leading a weekend workshop on basic and advanced clicker training and how to effectively teach clicker classes. This excellent learning opportunity is for trainers, shelter staff / volunteers, veterinarians and veterinary staff and dog lovers with a keen interest in training behavior. Continuing education credits for Certified Pet Dog Trainers have been applied for.
Pat Miller is surely one of the towering heralds of positive reinforcement dog training. Her 30 year career in training includes groundbreaking work at the Marin Humane Society and Santa Cruz SPCA. She's also a best selling author and successful business woman (www.peaceablepaws.com)
Pat has written two books: The Power of Positive Dog Training and Positive Perspectives: Love Your Dog, Train Your Dog. She's also the training editor for The Whole Dog Journal and a contributor to Tufts University's Your Dog, Bark Magazine and Dog Fancy.
Pat Miller is a former president of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (www.apdt.com) and a co-founder of the Tennessee Association of Positive Pet Trainers.
Pat lives with her husband, four dogs, three cats and four horses in western Maryland.
